It’s swimsuit season! This year, swim suits of all shapes, sizes and styles are in, so no need to worry about a style that just isn’t you!
Vintage sillouettes are popping up in a lot of stores and are such a great way of staying fashionable and comfortable at the same time. The look is flattering and fun, and a POSH alternative to your usual string bikini.
Here are some of my favorite bathing suit picks for the season. Anthropologie and Victoria’s Secret always have a wide variety of great choices and if you are looking for something less expensive, designers Isabel and Robert Toledo came out with a swim line for Target where 5% of each purchase will be donated to el Museo del Barrio, a Harlem non-profit.

Don’t forget about beach cover-ups! Funky, comfy and adorable cover-ups are an easy way to go to and from the beach or pool parties! Any of these are easily paired with shorts, pants or even by themselves. Oversized and vintage is going strong, so you can even consider layering these cover-ups with dresses, camis or scarves to make transitions during the day.

Pair your bathing suits and cover-ups with a fun head-wrap or turban with fun prints and colors. Grab a necklace and you are good to go! Enjoy the summer wherever you are with some Vitamin D and perhaps this fun twist to a lemonade!
