Is October really almost over already?! Time to start committing to the Fall decorations as Thanksgiving is going to sneak up just as fast as the season did.
POSH is loving Pottery Barn’s new Autumn Decoration collection, so let’s get inspired for the coming festivities and get our homes ready!
Changing our homes for every occasion can start getting overwhelming and expensive, so focusing on collecting items that are reusable over the years, and also transferable through different holidays will be your best secret. I love this table setting from Pottery Barn because of all the white decor. White, used with the branchy and brown accents makes a perfect Fall look that can be used as it gets closer to Christmas time as well! This table setting used a Hydrangea Wheat Garland, which you could easily make yourself or get inspired with another festive white table runner.
Some of these ideas would accent white settings nicely and are so homey and welcoming. Vases are some of the greatest ways to switch up your decorations for holidays and seasons; all you need to do is run to your nearest craft store (or grab some leaves, flowers etc…from outside) and refill them to complement the current season.

Mixed Leaf Branch, Mixed Leaf Wreath, Acorn Vase Filler, Pumpkin candles
If you feel like getting crafty (on your own time, or even getting your kids involved) Martha Stewart has created some great DIY’s as alternatives for some of the crafts above! Mixed Leaf Branch, Leaf or Feather Wreath, Pumpkin Candles and so many more on her site. The Pumpkin Candle DIY may get a little tricky, but regular pumpkins (orange or white) in all shapes and sizes make adorable additions to any mantle or table.
Finally, I HAD to include these Birch Candles. They are beautiful candles and can easily be used for a Fall or Winter table setting!
Set the table, put on a cute apron and get ready to carve the turkey!
