I think Spring has some of the best seasonal ingredients, don’t you? Ok, there is nothing like the flavors of pumpkin in the Fall, but Spring ingredients are so appropriately refreshing and rejuvenating!
Cooking seasonally is so healthy and actually, more affordable. When produce is in season it’s more readily available to store and farmers markets so the prices won’t make you want to cry. We are so used to having all seasons available to us, that we forget what it’s like to use only the ingredients that are fresh and sustainably made!
Recently I tried out Farm Fresh To You, a local farm that delivers farm fresh items straight to your door step! It was so exciting to look out my door each week and discover what fruits and veggies I received. It’s also quite the cooking challenge (if you are up to it) to learn to work with what your given! I would highly recommend looking into what type of farm fresh deliveries or farmers markets are near to you. Supper your local farmers and feed your body well!
